Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Article Processing Charges (APCs) are required for all accepted papers unless otherwise stated. An exception applies to authors affiliated with institutions participating in the journal’s institutional Support Program. APCs are payable after acceptance and prior to publication. Invoices are issued upon request. Since January 2026, a single APC rate per article applies to all submissions under the Gold Open Access model.

APC Rate: A single APC of 350 EUR (+VAT, if applicable) is payable per accepted article.

Waiver Policy

A waiver policy is available. Waivers may be granted at editorial discretion based on academic merit and/or documented financial need, up to a maximum of two articles per issue.

Open Access Funding

Article Processing Charges may be supported by research funders, institutions, or research units in accordance with applicable Open Access funding policies. Information on funding bodies and Open Access mandates is available through the Registry of Open Access Repositories Mandatory Archiving Policies (ROARMAP).

Payment Methods

Payments are processed after acceptance.

Single APC / per author institutional payment:
350 eur (+VAT, if applicable) - Payment Link (card/ paypal)

Customised value Payment Link (card/ paypal) for multiple authors.
(fee payed by the institution e.g. University, Research Unit)
