Article Processing Charge (APC):

Journals with APC :
UXUC - User Experience and Urban Creativity
BBDS - Black Book Drawing and Sketching
GSA - Graffiti and Street Art
EGI - Epigraphy, Graffiti, Iconography
VAS - Visionary Architecture Studies

Unless otherwise stated, APC is mandatory for all approved papers. With the exception of authors affiliated with the institutions that are members of our Support Program .

The payment must be processed after the paper acceptance for publication.
Payments that need invoice please contact with: name, fiscal number and address.

Note: Since January 2026, we have adopted a single APC rate (per author) applicable to all submissions (Gold Open Access). We have also established a clearly defined Waiver Process: limited to a maximum of two articles per issue, for invited authors—either selected on the basis of merit and/or demonstrating justified financial incapacity.

The purpose of Gold Open Access is not for authors to personally finance their publications, but rather to redirect library budgets—previously allocated to subscription fees—towards supporting publication costs through APCs or Diamond Open Access models. Allowing authors to fund publication from their own personal resources sends a contradictory signal and risks undermining the integrity and equitable implementation of the Open Access system.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Unless otherwise agreed, these values should be considered per author.

Single APC / per author institutional payment:
350 eur
(+VAT, if applicable) - Payment Link (card/ paypal)

Customised value Payment Link (card/ paypal) for multiple authors.
(fee payed by the institution e.g. University, Research Unit)

Institutional publishing agreement models

Under an Agreement, the institution pays an annual flat fee, and all articles with a corresponding author affiliated with the institution are published at no additional cost (in our APC-based/ Gold Open Access journals). At the same time, the institution supports our Diamond OA journal.

Agreement models offer an affordable option that enables institutions and their authors to publish freely in our Open Access journals while helping to sustain the publishing activity of our Diamond OA journal, know more in Support Program link or contact us directly.
