Abstract

Art research project, academic and cultural extension in an international network, operates in maritime and port areas in Latin American and European countries, such as Italy/Venice (Santa Marta), Valencia (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), as well as Florianópolis (SC) and Santos SP (Valongo) and Baixada Santos, Vitória (ES) in Brazil, expanding the shared construction of knowledge through network co-research actions, artistic co-creation, international exhibitions and publications that receive the intellectual and poetic contribution of the researcher-creators participating in this nomadic seminar and activations. It proposes thinking from different worldviews and cultures, the profound climate changes underway, relationships of appropriation, forms of belonging, promotion of memory and creative proposition for inhabiting contemporary cities. It considers the approaches proposed by the Chinese philosopher of technology Huk Hui regarding technodiversity, combined with Maura Reilly’s propositions around activist curating as perspectives to influence the expanded field of transnational public art in glocal contemporary times.
