Artwork statement

Arriskua is a dialogue grounded in meteorological listening, navigation, invisible borders, and weather forecasting. It brings together sounds of the earth and the cosmos, voices of bodies and materials vibrating with one another, and readings (in Basque) of weather reports. A convergence of phenomena, forces, and beings that coexist in an almost random and unpredictable manner. The sound piece is a collaboration with Jimmy Solórzano and Alba Fernández.
