About the Journal

UXUC Journal is specialized to address the intersections between the fields of User Experience and Urban Creativity. At UXUC Journal, we are committed to the transfer of UX knowledge not only to commercial physical spaces but also to democratically managed public spaces (e.g., those governed by city councils), oriented toward the common good, where participatory, bottom-up, marginal, fringe, unexpected, or spontaneous approaches—collectively referred to as Urban Creativity—can emerge.

This Journal publishes only original content, is a blind peer-reviewed, open-access, and regular scientific publication dedicated to fostering knowledge exchange among researchers and professionals. Is part of the broader experience of Wisethorough / Urban Creativity conferences and publishing initiatives, active since 2014. English is the working language. The handling of special issues follows the journal’s Reference Style, Editorial Procedures, Peer-Review Policy, and Ethical Guidelines. Depending on the topic, special issues may have specific scientific committee compositions.
